Phenolic grating offers superior resistance to flame and high temperatures with low smoke Emmissions.
Dura Tread Phenolic Fibreglass Grating
Dura Tread Phenolic fibreglass grating is the latest and most effective method to achieve maximum fire resistance, low smoke and low toxic fume emissions, ablative and low char yield. Non-flammability enables it to withstand direct flame for an extended period, without sustaining major structural damage. Fire resistance test data is available on request.
Phenolic Floor Grating
Phenolic floor grating is produced in a mould and is available in various mesh thicknesses and pane sizes. The walking surface can be supplied in a natural concave anti slip finish or angular quartz can be integrally added for superior anti slip qualities. Phenolic floor grating produces the most effective method of achieving maximum fire resistance, low smoke and low toxic fume emissions, ablative and low char yield. Non-flammability enables Phenolic grating to withstand direct flame for an extended period, without sustaining major structural damage. Fire resistance data is available on request.
Phenolic floor grating offers maximum fire protection, especially in working areas such as oil rigs, underground tunnels, rail subways, refineries, ship's decks and ship's life boat access gangways.
Phenolic Pultruded Grating
Phenolic pultruded grating is produced by "pulling" a matrix of phenolic resin and pure glassfibre strands, mats and veils through a heated dye to produce "I" or "T" bar sections of various profiles, thicknesses and depths. The "I" or "T" section bars are then converted into Phenolic Pultruded grating by linking the bars together with Phenolic Pultruded solid rods equally spaced between "I" or "T" section bars.
Phenolic Pultruded grating is available in 25mm, 38mm, 50mm, 60mm, 75mm and 100mm depths. The "I" or "T" bars can be spaced to provide varying "open" areas to suit specifications.
Pultruded grating is used in high fire risk areas and can be used where exceptional load bearing is required, and also where large uninterrupted spans need to be bridged.

Anti-Slip Surface
Angular Quartz is integrally bonded to the top surface, which produces an extremely long-lasting hardwearing surface. This gritted anti-slip texture has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface.
British Standard Test Results
The BS4592 test was devised to test and assess the slip resistance of industrial type flooring intended for use in water and wet areas. A co-efficient of friction (CoF) is calculated by determining the mean angle of inclination that an operator can safely maintain when the flooring is subjected to a continuous stream of water.

In addition to improving safety standards Dura Tread Fibreglass Grating provides excellent chemical resistance, is easy to install, and offers long term durability. The gritted anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface. Consideration should be given to installing Fibreglass Fabrications, Fibreglass Reinforced Plastics Drain Covers, Glassfibre Stair Treads, Glassfibre Steps, FRP Floor Grid, Moulded Grating and Non Slip Flooring.
These products are ideally suited for Additive Storage Areas, Assembly Lines, Flooring and Platforms.
